Perched high above the Cape's oldest wine-producing area, the aptly named Eagle's Nest takes full advantage of its panoramic surrounds, with large folding glass doors and extensive balconies and patios from which to marvel at the lush forest, rolling vineyards and majestic mountainscape. Interiors are uncluttered, with a natural palette to reflect the quiet and contemplative mood the house evokes. It's a place that invites relaxation and engagement in equal measure: from working out in the 20m lap pool to reclining in the postcard-perfect picnic area in the garden, or strolling along the many gorgeous walks (all starting right from your front door!) and sampling the award-winning wines from the surrounding vineyards. Sleeps: 8 in 4 double rooms (or 3 double and 1 twin-bedded room)

The spacious and immaculately fitted, open-plan master bedroom with four-poster king-size bed, lavishly appointed bathroom, additional outdoor shower and roomy walk-in cupboard, allows you to take inside living outside, with large fold-away glass doors opening onto wrap-around balcony overlooking lush gardens. The adjacent bedroom with inter-leading door and single bed may be used as a small child's bedroom. The 3 en-suite bedrooms on the 2nd floor are furnished with two queen-sized beds and one king-size bed (or 2 twins) respectively; all have ample cupboard space. The larger bedroom (king-size or twin) has its own deck and mini-entertainment area.

Living Areas:
A wrap-around wooden deck leads off from all entertainment areas on the ground floor. The sunken formal lounge with fireplace is open to the dining room with 10-seater table. The adjacent open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, with a scullery, pantry and laundry room attached. The second lounge (with TV, fireplace and bar area) runs alongside the kitchen and leads onto the outdoor entertainment/pool area. The third lounge is on the second floor, with workstation (desktop computer; printer; Wi-Fi throughout).

Outdoor:
Entertainment area comprises two BBQ areas, outdoor fridge, a 12-seater patio dining area, outside lounge, 8-seater Jacuzzi and 20m lap pool (fenced for children's safety). Picnic area, partly shaded by a Bedouin tent. Private surrounding farmland for beautiful walks in almost every direction.
