This unique Villa is nestled at the foot of the world renowned Table Mountain, in the prestigious residential area of Oranjezicht, close to the city centre of Cape Town, called City Bowl.

Gaze over splendid views of the Bay and Table Mountain from the expansive terrace. Garfield Villa is a grande dame built in Cape Dutch style in 1920, albeit beautifully restored in a unique style. Its structure retains the antique columns, wooden floors and high ceilings while the decor is reminiscent of the Indian influence in the Cape's history. Patinas of colour, design and artfully placed furnishing subtly reflects the colourful traditions of the Indian Archipelago and Cape Malay.

Artist Riaan Chambers added a personal touch to the lighting, creating a warm and cheerful ambiance with original custom made chandeliers made from recycled glass.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms:

For those who prefer to be outside, relax and enjoy the gorgeous view of the harbour on the cool terrace. Alternatively chill out and laze on cosy cushions set against the comfortable bay window alcove and surf the web or plan your route through the wineries.

A wooden fireplace in the dining room will keep you warm during fresh winter days while savouring your breakfast.

Feel completely comfortable watching satellite DSTV, or listening to CD's and DVD's in the living room. We also have a laptop for those requiring a broadband internet connection.

Outdoor:
Relax on our wooden deck overlooking the pool taking in the view or listening to the beautiful sunbirds' songs. Fine beach towels are provided on request.

The tranquil grounds boast a lovely garden with majestic trees, a relaxing wooden deck and plunge pool, where fine beach towels are provided.

Other:
You will be served breakfast in the dining area or outside on our lovely terrace: for the decadent homemade 'pain perdu', hot chocolate with cinnamon (try our Amarula special!), freshly ground coffee, for the healthy fresh fruit and juices, muesli and cheeses... are some of the yummy ingredients that will give you a great start to the day.
