Set on gentle slopes with a backdrop of Kogel Eco Park fynbos, Barton's villas offer sweeping views of the Kogel valley, the Bablionsberg and Hottentots Hollands mountains.
The spacious Tuscan-style luxury mountainside villas are designed to maximise the views over the valley, vineyards, olive groves and fynbos.
Barton, in South Africa's Western Cape province, is located off the R43 road leading to Hermanus. Lying at the foot of the Hottentot Hollands mountain range in the Botriver valley it borders the Kogelberg National Eco Park on the one side and looks across the valley to the Bablionsberg mountains on the other. It is just one hour's drive from Cape Town International Airport and twenty minutes from Hermanus and the beaches of the South Atlantic ocean.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
The villa has two double rooms - both en-suite with shower and bath.
Living Areas:
There is a spacious open plan living room with DSTV and a log fire, which can also be used for indoor braais (barbecue), dining area and kitchen with dishwasher.
Outdoor:
washing machine and dryer are installed in the garage below with braai facilities provided on the veranda, which has views of the mountains, the Kogel Valley and Walker Bay.
The house has its own outdoor pool, set into the rock, with views of the mountains and valley below.
Other:
Cleaning service, and a cot can be provided on request.
Barton offers a wide range of attractions and activities for holidaymakers in the Western Cape. Visitors are welcome to use the farm for walking especially through the fynbos, cycling, picnics, bird watching and fly-fishing.
